Marketing & Communications Coordinator

My client, a growing professional services firm, is looking for a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to help tell the story of their projects, people, and culture. This role contributes to written and visual communications that support brand visibility, internal engagement, and business development.

The ideal candidate is a well-rounded communications professional with strong writing and editing skills, plus hands-on experience in photography and video. You're comfortable working across formats, enjoy collaborating with technical teams, and can juggle a variety of communications tasks while keeping quality and consistency high.

Content Creation & Communications

  • Write and edit content for social media, internal communications, proposals, presentations, and marketing materials.
  • Develop brand-aligned stories around projects, people, and culture.
  • Edit and help develop blog posts and thought leadership content from team members.

Brand & Creative Support

  • Help protect and evolve brand voice, tone, and visual identity across channels.
  • Contribute ideas for campaigns, visuals, and creative concepts.
  • Support brand visibility through career fairs, networking events, and company events, including event photography/videography.

Digital & External Communications

  • Assist with updating website content, including project highlights and company updates.
  • Support social media planning, content creation, posting, and performance tracking.

Visual Content (Photography & Video)

  • Capture and edit photo and video content for projects, people, and events.
  • Support short-form video and visual content for social media, proposals, and internal use.

Proposal & Business Development Support

  • Work closely with subject matter experts, leadership, and business development teams.
  • Support writing, editing, and formatting of proposal content.
  • Create and update project reference sheets, team CVs, and supporting proposal materials.

What You Bring:

  • 3–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related role.
  • Strong writing and editing skills for proposals, communications, and digital content.
  • Hands-on experience with photography and basic video production.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, Canva, and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience in professional services, engineering, or construction is an asset.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Compensation: $55,000–$60,000 annually, depending on experience.
